Why take Criminal Justice?

Criminal Justice involves the study of crime from a systems perspective. Far from being a narrowly defined law enforcement or correctional program.

The goal of the course is to expose students to the various positions within criminal justice, as well as for seeing if the student may have a interest criminal Justice as a college degree in their future.

This course requires that students keep up on current events of the criminal justice system. Students need to be able to connect current academic lessons to real world application. The form provided should be used to complete these assignments when they are due. (You will find that document below)

Do I take Late Work?

Late work is not accepted, however if you are absent you have the same number of days you missed to make up that work within reason.

Where do you turn in work?

Work can be turned into the wood box by the door as you exit. You can also Email assignments to mfluharty@avhsd.org I DO NOT USE GOOGLE CLASSROOM.

When is work due?

All assignments except Current Events are due by midnight of the assigned due date. Current Events are due as class starts on the day we do them.
